Ok, so we have been terrible about updating this blog! It's been a very long 5 weeks and not much has happened. BUT... here are the highlights, Mistie!
The end of January we took a little vacation to the Marriot up the street. We were so tired of the yucky weather and the walls of our home. We packed our bags, got our swimsuits and hid at the Marriot for 24hrs. It was SO nice... we got early check-in, lots of extra feather pillows and a room right by the heated pool. We took a long nap, went swimming, ordered in dinner, went swimming some more, ate lots of ice cream, had the best night of sleep in a long time, slept in, ate yummy breakfast, went swimming again and then it was unfortunate but we had to leave. We packed our bags and drove a long 3 miles home. Back to life!
The last few weeks have gone by really slow! Being pregnant has really got the best of me... even being medicated it's still been rough. I know it will pass, but it really gets to you mentally after a while. I started working evenings to spend time with Carrington during the day before she goes to school. I've been working nights for about 4 weeks now... 2 more to go and hopefully that will result in a morning shift. Shane has been Mr. Mom, husband, cook, cleaner of the house, bill payer, organizer, you NAME IT he has been doing it. I am SO thankful for him, I can't say it enough. Hopefully the hour and a half massage I gave him for Valentine's Day helped! Speaking of Valentine's Day it was pretty uneventful for one... in the past Valentine's Day hasn't always been our favorite time of year. I had to work, so Shane and Carrington surprised me with dinner and we exchanged Valentine's. Once the weekend arrived Shane and I went to a movie and spent the afternoon together. After Valentine's Day and pretty much since then I have been really sick. I know it's the time of year, being pregnant doesn't help, but it's been a rough couple of weeks. Hopefully the next couple of weeks will be better... attitude is 90% right!
Carrington has been busy with school, dance and started gymnastics again. She goes with her friend Jordan and has a blast. We are really trying to spend time with her and get some activities lined out to help keep her busy and out of trouble! :)
For this month of March we are going to focus on getting things in order for our family. I have a dr. appointment this week, hopefully we will get to hear the heartbeat. I heard it this past weekend at Primary Health and it was 168, very very fast.
It looks like we are also headed to CDA, ID to support Rick in an All-Start game. Hopefully we will have some fun pics to share.
More to come and I promise another update SOON.
Much Love.

I knew all it would take was a little peer pressure from me :) Sounds like a fun time! Aaron and I love taking mini vacations here in town. It truly is like being in another world for a few hours!
Yeah! We love updates!! Thank you so much! It's depressing that even though we're family I still need an update from your blog to know what's going on. :) I'm sorry about your pregnancy blues... Hopefully it all goes up uphill from here. With 9 weeks to go - I'm starting to get a little uncomfortbale myself! :) Love you - take care!
