Holly the Hippo!

I'm gonna take a l o n g story and make it really short!

Carrington loves Build a Bear... and so do Shane and I! She has more animals from that store that should be allowed. All that money that should have been put in her college fund... Anyway!

I took her there over the weekend because she had earned enough points to get a bear (behavior thing we are trying). So, she walks in, looks at the wall, picks out a purple hippo and gets in line. Thank goodness she doesn't spend hours debating which one she wants; she is on a mission when she walks in that store.

The Build a Bear employee walks up to Carrington and asks if she is ready to make her bear. Carrington knows the routine and immediately walks over to the "stuffing pedal" and steps on it. Little did we know that the employee did not turn the machine off and it started snowing bear stuffing everywhere. Carrington not sure what is going on, keeps her foot on the pedal long enough that she covers the floor and the employee with bear stuffing!!!! The look on the girl's face was PRICELESS... I was laughing so hard inside I couldn't get the words out to tell Carrington to take her foot off the pedal. After a few seconds, which seemed like minutes... the employee stopped the machine, took several minutes picking stuffing off her clothes and I cleaned up the floor. The employee stuffed the hippo, had Carrington rub her tummy, make a wish, kiss the heart and do 10 other things before we were able to move on the "wash station". Carrington grabs the hippo and says, "Silly, the stuffing goes in the bear"!

What a day!
