Our Christmas Holiday!

I can't believe Christmas is over... time flies around the holidays and before you know it the stores are putting out Valentines candy!

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Christmas Eve we visited with Kelly and Rulon, had a fabulous dinner and enjoyed the meeting of each others families. After dinner we headed over to my parents house for our Christmas Eve Pajama Party; it's been a tradition for 35 years. We open our new pj's, have snacks and read Twas' the Night Before Christmas. This year we were able to connect with my sister, her family in Mississippi and enjoy the evening with them. Gotta love technology!!! Shane and I decided to stay the night at my parents house so we could be there Christmas morning. I think we finally made it to bed just after midnight... Santa was approaching and we didn't want to mess up his route. Santa arrived somewhere between midnight and 8am! We finally woke Carrington up at 8am and headed straight down the stairs to open gifts. It was so much fun being there with family! After opening gifts my mom made breakfast... ORANGE ROLLS and BACON! It doesn't get any better than that... YUM! Josh and I got a Wii for Christmas, so we spent the morning figuring it out. It's SOOOO addicting... We had a great time! After a couple of hours of playing, it was time to help mom prep for Christmas dinner. For those of you that don't know my mom goes all out and cooks the most amazing dinner. It's one of those that takes 6 hours to prepare and 20 minutes to enjoy. After dinner it was more Wii and relaxing. We headed out in the afternoon and enjoyed some quiet time at home. Then we headed over to Grandma's house. Christmas is my favorite time of year... celebrate the birth of Jesus, time with family and friends and reflect on the year. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and look forward to celebrating the New Year! Until the next time... Love the Tolhouse Trio!

Enjoy the pics, this year I took a lot more with 35mm...will post those SOON!
